Life Once Upon a Time

We will present old crafts and professions Guided tour of the hayrack and the cultural ethnological collection of old objects. Performances on stage: Line, Folk songs - Folk singers Lakes, Folklore, Accordion players Cuisine: Pudgur dumplings and old dishes (yes, jota) Fair – stalls with homemade products

What did freshly treated wood smell like? How did the hammer strike in the forge? How did children play when there were no phones and computers?

We invite you to the event Life Someday together we will revive memories of the times when life was shaped by hardworking hands, handicrafts and authentic interpersonal relationships.

 Under the hayrack on the Draft

A real journey into the past awaits you!

 What will you experience?

• Demonstration of the work of a barber, blacksmith and shoemaker.
• Tour of old fire sprinklers.
• Old children's games and creative workshops.
• Knitting and knitting demonstration.
• Presentation of the homemade cheese factory Mema.
• Presentation of the Knights' Society of Kašča.
• An open ethnological collection under the hayrack.
• Delicious homemade delicacies according to the recipes of our grandmothers.

Baskets will also be weaved, grain will be milled, wooden products will be made, and candles will be made from honeycombs.

Children will also be catered for, learning about old games for children and getting acquainted with museum adventures.

The right atmosphere will be provided by:

 Music Society Lajna and Friends,
 Rakek Folklore Society,
 Folk singers Jezerci in traditional clothes,
 and the sounds of the accordion, which will enrich the event with folk music.

The event is intended for all generations – the elderly, who will bring back pleasant memories, and the younger, who will be able to learn about the life and skills of our ancestors up close.

Come with your family, friends or grandparents and experience with us how life used to be.
