Art exhibition of Dajana Čok
The library's exhibition will feature an exhibition of abstract paintings by the amateur, award-winning skier Dajana Čok from Divača.
With distinctive colour symbolism, she explores inner experience, time and traces of everyday experiences. Her compositions are thoughtful and balanced, often horizontally divided into pictorial planes that create a sense of depth and lead the viewer to imaginary, serene landscapes.

Ethnographic Exhibition: Once Indispensable, Today Objects of the Past
As part of the Cultural Heritage Week, the library will host an ethnological exhibition of objects that once formed the pulse of everyday life. The exhibited objects – from a wooden butter mold and a manual coffee grinder to a face and an old mousetrap – testify to the ingenuity, work and lifestyle of our ancestors.
The exhibition was created in cooperation with the Haasberg Škratovka Association.

Every first Sunday of the month, we offer free admission to the museum to the citizens of Postojna, Pivka, Cerknica and the Loka Valley. The permanent exhibition Karst Museum and New Premises, the Observation Depot and Lapidarium, the new exhibition Crime and Fruit and all children's corners are on display. You are invited to take a tour!

Opening of the exhibition One, Two, Three... Up to ten Neanderthal
We invite you to the opening of a new temporary exhibition entitled One, Two, Three... Until Ten Neanderthal, by Dr. Slavko Polak. A press conference will be held at 11 a.m., the opening of the exhibition at 1 p.m., and a workshop for children at 5 p.m. Admission is free!
