Art exhibition of Dajana Čok
The library's exhibition will feature an exhibition of abstract paintings by the amateur, award-winning skier Dajana Čok from Divača.
With distinctive colour symbolism, she explores inner experience, time and traces of everyday experiences. Her compositions are thoughtful and balanced, often horizontally divided into pictorial planes that create a sense of depth and lead the viewer to imaginary, serene landscapes.

Ethnographic Exhibition: Once Indispensable, Today Objects of the Past
As part of the Cultural Heritage Week, the library will host an ethnological exhibition of objects that once formed the pulse of everyday life. The exhibited objects – from a wooden butter mold and a manual coffee grinder to a face and an old mousetrap – testify to the ingenuity, work and lifestyle of our ancestors.
The exhibition was created in cooperation with the Haasberg Škratovka Association.

First Sunday of the month
Every first Sunday of the month, we offer free admission to the museum to the citizens of Postojna, Pivka, Cerknica and the Loka Valley. The permanent exhibition Karst Museum and New Premises, the Observation Depot and Lapidarium, the new exhibition Crime and Fruit and all children's corners are on display. Fruits and nuts - the power of natural food
The workshop introduces participants to the nutritional value of fruits and nuts and their health benefits. They will learn about different types, ways of use in nutrition and practical tips for integrating these natural energy sources into everyday life.
The workshop is free of charge.

Beekeeping workshop (subscription for mulches, froce and crumbs)
Children between the ages of 6 and 11 are invited to the first workshop of the children's subscription Za mulce, froce and krumbs. Beekeeper and apothetherapist Janja Likar will introduce us to the world of bees, we will taste their products, and at the end we will make sweet souvenirs - honey lollipops. The price of the workshop is 10€/child, and the price of the entire subscription (5 workshops) is 30€/child. You are kindly invited!

The Natural Way to Restful Sleep: The Sounder Sleep System™
The method offers a gentle, natural and extremely effective approach to improving sleep, based on subtle, coordinated movements and conscious breathing.
The workshop will be led by Mateja Pate, a certified teacher of the Sounder Sleep System™ and a certified teacher of the Feldenkrais method, who will show how to naturally transfer the body from a state of stress to deep relaxation and peaceful sleep through practical techniques.

When I Get Out (Documentary Evening)
The season of free documentary evenings begins on the 7th with the winner of the last Slovenian Film Festival (FSF), directed by Metod Pevec, which was filmed in the prison at Dob.
The screening is followed by a conversation with the director, who in the film directs his gaze beyond crime and stereotypes with a subtle sense of man. He does not create a film about prison, but a shocking documentary about people in extreme life circumstances.
